A TAGGY ENDING.....

We are nearly at the end of the month, and therefore nearly at the end of the 'Tag You're It' June Challenge.  If you still have to link your entry up there are only 2 days to go, and the scrummy taggy links so far displayed can all be found HERE.  Shortly Helen (loving her Zany Bird - Here) will have the very difficult job of choosing her 'five' - soooo very difficult!!!

Meanwhile we have had a bit of a special offer going on on the website - but only if you are signed up to receive the CI Newsletters - if you haven't signed up yet - maybe you should - you will find the appropriate spot for this near the bottom of the Home Page - Here, and if you would still like the current offer details please email us at info@craftyindividuals.co.uk for a copy of the latest Newsletter.  Many of you have taken us up on the offer over the last few days I am delighted to say.  I hope you are enjoying your bargain purchases right now!

It seems that we have increased our blog followers recently to nearly 900.  When we hit the 900 mark we will put up a cool collection of blog candy here for you to maybe acquire - so if you could follow and haven't yet then please do so, or point your crafty friends in the right direction if you can, so that I can print details of the candy on here soon.

Lets get on with the taggy tags now and the last of the team inspiration I have to show you...

Mainly tonight I have tags and a step by step from lovely Gio..

The first pretty tag features the lady from CI-394, and other bits from CI-393, and the second, pretty in pink, the dress form from CI-383 and the inchie ladies from CI-174.

Now I have a really useful and clever set of luggage tags from Gio, with a 'step by step' so that you can make yourself some, and really travel in style!!

Cut a large strip of canvas, plus another thinner strip....

Cut out an opening to hold the personal data...

Using the CI Floral Grid Mask sponge some acrylic paint over...

When dry cover the tag with a lighter colour wash of acrylic paint...

Stamp randomly with CI-017 (script) and CI-122 or 124 (postmarks). Gio has also used one of our small giveaway stamps to decorate...

Cut a piece of canvas the same size as the opening flap for the main image, and stamp with CI-344, then colour with Distress inks or Copic pens...

Sew or glue along three sides...

Glue on the stamped panel, add the strap, and insert your personal data...

Hey presto - your tags are ready to use!

Finally tonight I have a couple of taggy tags from Coco, and Daniele to show you...

Both using CI stamps and stuff!

Thanks for tuning in, back soon folks,

Jean x

DO YOU EVER WISH.....

Do you ever wish you hadn't begun something?..... It started out with me 'lightly trimming' some honeysuckle tonight that had got a bit out of hand and huge against a wall in my garden - but one thing led to another and somehow I now have a completely bare wall, and lots of greenery and huge branches to get rid of!! Ah well I guess it might start to grow back next year, and I won't have a boring brick wall to look at forever!  Meanwhile back on the blog we are still in the process of collecting lovely taggy themed 'links' on this post HERE.  Twenty five entries so far, but still a week to go, so really you have no excuse as its only a tag you need to make this time!!!!

I still have lots of inspiring makes, all with a 'Tag You're It' theme, gathered in a file ready to show you.  So as there is only a week left of June, I had better get a move on, and here we go....

Laury has made a whole bunch of themed and fabby tags, and clipped them together like this...

Quite an assortment of CI stamps appear here such as CI-022 and CI-258, and I think this sort of project would make a lovely gift, don't you?

Lucy made a tag too...

....using the new stamps CI-409, CI-411 and CI-410 which work rather beautifully together here.

Lynne has done us proud yet again with this lovely hanging tag collection....

...and has used stamp set CI-395 so very delicately on her hanging.  Plus she has made this taggy card...

...which features CI-405 as focal point, in a very shabby chic kind of way.

My final lovely crafty pieces for this evening have been created by Helen, who is our leader in this Challenge.....

....and has used the same stamps that Lynne used, but as you can see in a completely different way.

Thanks for reading, and back again soon with another tutorial - in a totally taggy sort of a way of course...

p.s. Forgot to say thanks for all the holiday wishes - we had a great time, and Monty Moodle just loved his walkies on the beach.

TAGS GALORE.....

All sorts of tag creations are now appearing on our blog HERE, as response to the June Challenge title of 'Tag You're It' - still looking forward to seeing your tag too!!

Tonight I have lots more tags from the Team to show you, so I'm going to rattle them off here below.  Malcolm and I are off to Northumberland on Saturday for a few days, so won't be posting until we get back, and I've still got lots more still to show you before the end of the month.  So here we go.....

Firstly a couple of lovely tags by Brenda...

Both of these feature our newest stamps which can be found in our New Products section.

Then I have another beauty by Ginger....

Ginger used CI-277 on her tag.

Loving Effie's recycled tags (featuring CI-410), so much so that I made some along the same lines myself....

And mine, on new 'recycled' tags ..

Next I have some beauties by Coco....

I won't link to all the above stamps, as it would take me forever, but you will find them all on our website at www.craftyindividuals.co.uk

Daniele's very lovely scrapbook page is next in line, and full of tags made from our latest issue of stamps again....

Then I'll sign off for tonight with these adorable taggy makes by Joanna.  Firstly a lovely 'musical' chocolate bar box and tags...

Plus two more adorable beauties....

Hope you've enjoyed this very colourful tagful display this evening, and now we have piccies of a very excited Monty Moodle who has packed his bags ready for his imminent Northumberland holiday.....

Aw bless!

Nite all,

Jean x
