ITS VERY NEARLY TIME TO START A NEW CHALLENGE.....

However we are not quite there yet, so I wanted to get this post in quick beforehand, as I had promised makes by Effie and Laury for my last post, and then got sidetracked.  So this is the post with makes with fairly new stamps by the two lovely ladies.  It won't be a long post, so do just join me quickly to feast your eyes on the projects below....

Firstly Effie has made some very beautiful seed packets - perfect for a friend who likes their gardening, or maybe they could contain wildflower seeds for the bees to enjoy!  She has also provided some photos to show you how the packets were made....

Rather a lovely idea methinks, and Effie has used stamps CI-411 and CI-407 to create her seed packets.

Now I have 4 makes by Laury - all of which are so very pretty.  The first two are using the last issue of stamps...

(Well maybe we can't call fish pretty, I agree, but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all!)

Loving that bookmark using CI-411 again, plus CI-410, and the fishes are from CI-412.

Then the second two are using stamps from the very latest issue...

I adore that beautiful key holder made with shrink plastic and fabric, and using Gio's lovely new stamp CI-419.  And the second make is a folder which would be great for doing your journalling in, and again using Gio's lovely stamps - perfect!

Thanks for dropping by,
Back again very soon with the August Challenge details.

NEW STUFF AND STUFF.....

I was going to show you more stuff with the last lot of new stuff, however we have got newer new stuff out now, so I'm going to show you that new stuff instead - lots of lols!

I am struggling with the computer tonight as my graphic pen isn't working properly and I am now hopeless with a mouse, so this may be a shorter post than usual?!

Here is the new stuff....

6 new stamps - four by ourselves, and two by lovely Gio from sunny Italy.  All can be found together listed in the NEW PRODUCTS section, which is working well these days!  Look out for the two on a very Special Offer, for one week only!  Here are the four CI's with the vintage flavour...

And here are the two new lovelies by Gio - definitely more contemporary than vintage and Gio now has her own slot on the website HERE....

I was very happy with this little lot and I so hope you like them too?!

Looking forward to seeing what you all make with them (do send us a link), and here are a few things we have made with them so far.

I played with the picket fence and the vintage bicycle, firstly on a little canvas....

And then I made a card...

Might need to add some butterflies to that card yet?!

Two team members have had a play with Gio's designs already, both in a completely different way.  Loving the orange flowers we have here by Joanna.....

And here is a fun and dreamy experimental design by Lynne....

Back soon with more stuff, and waiting to see what Gio comes up with herself with her own designs (although her sample stamps may still be in the snail mail to Italy).

FAMOUS FIVE - TAG YOU'RE IT ....

Results time...

As chosen by Helen from the selection you can find HERE, with comments by Helen...

'Loved looking through all the tags - so many beautiful pieces of work it was hard to choose, but here goes...

No 7 - Love the colours on this, the balance of the stamping, the little twigs and twine.  Great attention to detail:

No 9 - Love the blues/yellow/oranges.  Very detailed background and like how the panel is wider than the tag. Lots of texture and depth:

No 11 - Really like the dark text background with the pale colours of the stamped image. Lots of depth, layers and texture:

No 16 - Just look at that pink and orange - it ties in so well with the picture.  Lots of detail in here - love the little crumpled wax paper flowers:

No 23 - Gorgeous greens and blues with very pale pink ribbon.  Liked the addition of the sequin waste and the depth of the background:

Well done everyone, and thanks for joining in!  The next Challenge will be posted at the beginning of September.

Please can the owners of these pretty little things email us at info@craftyindividuals with their addresses and choice of stamp so that we can send off their prizes asap.

Back soon,

Jean x

p.s.  Only 3 followers now needed to bring the total to 900!!  Then we shall have a rather nice selection of blog candy appearing here.
