JUST OVER A DAY TO GO......

...until the end of our August Challenge! Better be quick if you need to link in your project....

Just time then to show you the last of the team's Autumn Fashion projects - tonight's are by lovely Helen Chilton. And here they are...

For this little beauty Helen has turned a canvas around to make a frame and made great use of the ladies from CI-322 and CI-401.  She has used masks Delicate Grasses 2 in the centre along with stamping from CI-017.

And this I think this is a Stampbord project, again using CI-401 - loving the pastel colours Helen!

Short and sweet post tonight, but I hope you have liked it.  Back soon with the Challenge results,

Jean x

SO FASHIONABLY STEAMPUNK.....

With just 8 days to go in the current Challenge I still have some Autumn Fashion lovelies to share with you by our team members.  Laury has been very imaginative with a unique choice of interpretation, and has gone all Steampunk on us with this super stylish little book....

As well as the cool photographs Laury has used lots of CI stamps too, such as CI-022 'Day out Ticket', CI-258 'Uplifting Words', CI-404 'Chunky Steam Train Tag', CI-405 'Chunky Vintage Car Tag' and CI-406 'Medieval Manuscript'.

So as you can see the topic is wide open and can take you to lots of different crafting places.  Joanna has explored it in a gorgeously more traditional way.....

.... with her very pretty and fashionable cards, featuring CI-394 'No Guarantee without the Stamp', and CI-401 'Ladies who Latte'.

Next I have another funky and clever fashionable make by Effie....

....such a fun tag using CI-416 'Feathered Friends', and CI-418 'Frida Dreaming' combined!

To close tonight I have some more lovely makes by Gio, which although not strictly made for the Challenge, they do rather fit the topic I think....

....the top two sporting those trendy zips Gio has recently got to grips with and featuring Gio's own designed stamps CI-418 'Frida Dreaming', and CI-419 'Lovely Day'!!

Thanks for tuning in,

Back soon,

Jean x

AUTUMNAL DAYS......

I don't know how the weather is in your neck of the woods at the moment, but its been very Autumnal feeling here today - windy and almost cold!  So to continue with the theme of Autumn Fashion as to be found in our current Challenge is very appropriate.  Not many entries as yet, although they are looking good, however I'm sure you still have your beautiful entry currently in progress, with 15 days still to go!

Here is some more lovely inspiration....

Adoring this very pretty card by Daniele!...

...which features one of our latest stamps CI-414 - beautifully coloured by Daniele.  The flowers are also a favourite, from CI-206

Gio has used the same stamp, but in a totally different way....

and she has also been playing with one of her own gorgeous stamp designs CI-418....

...with a clever use of the floral band in Frida's hair to make the adornment around her lovely image. A little help here too from CI-401.

Effie has made some colourful earrings with CI-418 and Shrink Plastic....

And Ginger and Coco have been journaling and creating with CI-418 and CI-419 in a very current and trendy way....

Many thanks to the ladies above for sharing their fabulous creations with us this evening.

Keep warm everyone,

Back soon,

Jean x

FURTHER POSTINGS ON FASHION.....

I am spending the weekend visiting a friend (happy days!) - so thought I would get my blog post in now - continuing in Fashion mode - before I go.  Our current August Challenge can be found HERE, and we are soooo looking forward to having you join us with a link to your Autumn Fashion make!  My last post had loads of lovely piccies from Sylvie, showing us her beautiful fashionable creation, and tonight I have a couple more makes by other members of our talented team, and one from myself.

Firstly from Ginger I have a stunning Fashion House...

Ginger has used rubber stamps CI-322, CI-328, CI-329, CI-350 and CI-383 to create her project, plus some of our background papers - all of which can be found at www.craftyindividuals.co.uk of course (loving all the pretty little details in here!).

My creation - loosely based around the same topic (yes 'loosely' is fine too - you have our permission!) is a painted and distressed folding photo holder, sporting several CI stamps and also mini images from our glossy image sheets....

Two of the stamp images are from the latest release, which can be found in the 'New Products' section on the website - well birds can be fashionable in Autumn too, and I so wanted to play with them!!

My final bags of delights are made (from scratch) by lovely Gio - who has learnt how to insert zips recently, and is now inserting them everywhere I believe!  Love these Gio.....

Masks used here can be found in their own department HERE, and Gio also used CI-352 'Flying Birds Clock Face' to decorate.  What a great take on Autumn Fashion and so useful too!  Did any of you attend Gio's class at The Craft Barn recently - it looked fun?!!

Thanks for popping by!

Jean x

p.s. I think we can definitely say that turtles are in fashion Ionabunny! Also looking forward to seeing makes by Caroline in the future - a new member of the blogging world!
p.p.s. To Edie L - 'Notions' in USA distribute our rubber stamps over there.  Hoping to add the new releases to their collection soon
