NEW RUBBER STAMPS, NEW PROJECTS FROM OLDER STAMPS, AND A STEP BY STEP....

Gosh its already 9.40pm and I meant to have this post up and finished before now, and here I am just starting it!  We've had a lovely day in the sunshine today with a trip to Saltburn by the Sea, and then to see the bluebells, part of the way up to Roseberry Topping.  They were delightful, and I will pop a little piccie of Monty Moodle amongst the bluebells at the end of this post.  He is certainly a tired little dog tonight, having been out sniffing about and enjoying the sunshine all day, during our travels.  And he is now fast asleep here by my side.

We had a new release of stamps a few days ago, and I will give you a quick visual run through of those before I move on to some projects, and a step by step, from the ladies...

You will find all of the above lovelies on our website HERE.

The following images are from Daniele, Gio and Joanna, and feature stamps from our previous release...

All gorgeous little works of art, I'm sure you will agree!

Then I have some great cards by Effie - very stylish indeed....

All featuring the 'Hello' telephone from CI-403.

Finally I have a stunning step by step from Sylvie - this is the project...

And here are the steps in lovely clear photographs...

Sylvie used the following to make her project:

CI-405
CI-122
CI-407
Oblong Decromount
Floral Grid Mask

Thanks all, and hope you have enjoyed the display tonight.  Please leave a comment if you can.

NEW PRODUCTS AND MAKES.....

Thank you for leaving comments on my last post giving you the 5 chosen linked in entries for the April Challenge.  We will be having our next Challenge in June, and I do hope you will join us again!

If you are on the Crafty Individuals mailing list - which you can join via the Home Page on the CI website - you will have received a fairly recent email about our new Must Have products.  I thought I might now give you a bit of an update on those and show a few makes by yours truly (whilst listening to the Eurovision Song Contest in the background).

We have some rather lovely MDF products in stock now, such as these below, plus lots more which you will find HERE...

And this is a great plaque with 4 hearts to dangle, which I turned from this...

To this...

Very girlie and just perfect for the boudoir.  I used a sheet of background paper from our Travels in Italy book, and stamps from CI-335, and CI-340 and it was great fun to make.
I also had a play with one of the little MDF frames and decorated this little canvas with sprays and lace netting, ribbons and stamping....

Very pink!!

I also made a bathroom (or beach hut, or boat) bunting hanging from the MDF bunting...

I think this bunting will also be perfect to decorate for birthdays, parties or Christmas .... so watch this space!

Now as they are similar colours I will pop another couple of cards I made below on a beach/seaside theme...

Papers from our Seaside Background Book, plus stamps CI-278, and CI-295 as focal images.

I also have a couple of images left over from our February Challenge (February I hear you say - yes indeed- doesn't time fly).  This one was one of mine which didn't get posted at the time, featuring CI-338, and the lace stamp CI-350 ...

And for some reason I didn't get this beauty from lovely Lynne posted at the time either...

Not sure why, but better late than never of course. Lynne has used our Chunky Train Tag on her project.

My final images tonight are projects made by three of our lovely customers that I thought I would share with you here - a fabulous box by Julie at http://newnanny.blogspot.co.uk/ ...

- Plus two cool cards, the first by Sherry at http://bitsofcheer.blogspot.co.uk/...

And the second by Ruth Wagner...

Many thanks for sharing those ladies,

Back soon,
thanks for joining me,

Jean x

APRIL CHALLENGE RESULTS...

I didn't envy Lucy the task of picking five out of the April Challenge entries - so very, very difficult.  However she has come up with her five chosen ones, and here they are with personal comments on each from Lucy..

'Thank you so much for the glorious entries for the Nature's Beauty Challenge for April!  It has been a pleasure to visit you all, and I have gone back to visit once more to try to make the very difficult decision to choose five winners.  Every single entry was so beautiful and I do hope you will enter again in June.  Here are my choices in no particular order, and I do hope you will enjoy your prizes...

Entry 11.  Claire - I loved how Claire was inspired by the beauty around her in an unlikely place!  Great use of the CI stamps and beautiful colours and composition.  Loved the micro beads idea...

Entry 15.  Rachel - Rachel used CI lace, stencil and stamps to great effect in her vibrant and beautiful wall hanging...

Entry 17.  MyraSuch a lot of work has gone into your stunning Printer’s Tray, Myra! I love the textured cover, and the great selection of CI stamps you have used inside...

Entry 24.  Elizabeth - I love the Spring background papers you have chosen for the background of your card, Elizabeth, the sweet Bird stamp, and those beautiful and unusual homemade scrunched flowers...

Entry 27.  ChristaSuch an unusual technique for the background of your card, Christa, and so effective! I love the tactile ‘baby wipe’ flower, and how you have created a perfect backdrop for the butterfly stamp...'

......

Lovely work everyone!  Thank you for joining us in this Challenge and hope to link up with you again in June.

p.s. Totally forgot to say - could the 5 please email us at info@craftyindividuals.co.uk with your address and choice of stamp!  Many thanks x
