MORE MUSICAL MAKES, FROM BRENDA, DANIELE AND COCO, AND YOU COULD WIN STUFF TOO.....

Lovely to see, meet and greet, so many friendly, happy, crafty folk at Happy Stampers in Port Sunlight on Saturday.  It's always a really nice show - and we hope to see you all again in October!  Our next retail show is in Doncaster, at The Dome, on Sunday, 7th June.  We haven't been there for a while and it will be great to be back again.  You can find further information about this show and the other exhibitors at: Which Craft? Stamp Magic 2015.

Now on with more musical makes from the team to celebrate our current Challenge, details about which can be found on our last blog post Here.

We have four colourful makes by Brenda with a musical theme....

The middle two have pretty obvious references to music, but I wonder if you can spot the reference in the others?  The first card features a vintage perfume ad and a shop called 'Adele'.  Brenda linked this to our current UK 'Adele' with the lovely singing voice.  In the last tag it is songbirds that hold the key and the musical reference.  Lots of CI stamps appearing in these such as CI-148 and CI-329.

The next make is absolutely gorgeous and by Daniele.  Lots going on in this bonny beauty....

Stamps used include CI-366 and CI-393, and more.  Thoroughly delicious!

*If you think you could name another two of the stamps that make an appearance on Daniele's make above please email us with the relevant stamp numbers and your address and you could win all three of the latest CI stamp releases and our new background book 'A Weekend in Seville'.  One lucky winner will be picked later this week!

My final pretty little musical make this evening is by Coco, and features the cheeky little robins from CI-424...

Well that's about all for tonight.  Back soon with more music themed makes by other teamies.

Have a lovely week, and don't for get to enter our little 'name that stamp' challenge above, as well as linking up to the current musical challenge.  Comments always appreciated.

Bye for now,

*CI-366 was used in the cards above.

Then I have a simply gorgeous card by Helen.....

*CI-423 has been used here.
The musical reference here is in the title - 'By the light of the Silvery Moon'
Next I want to show you Florence's (our newest team member) deliciously musical make - with music in the background.....

*CI-309 is the musical stamp used here in the background, along with other CI products.

And lastly today a lovely musical birthday ducky card make by Coco - displaying an MDF musical instrument....

*CI-433 is the stamp used above featuring our jolly 'Alice' ducky.

All very beautiful indeed! So what will you make with a bit of a reference to music within?  Do join in!

A QUICK POST BEFORE POLDARK...

Have to see the last episode at 9pm, so this is a quick post this week before then!  My next post will be to introduce you to the new Challenge for May, so tonight I just have a few things to show you whilst I get all the team's beautiful inspiring makes together for the beginning of May.  So I have a few bits by me to begin with.  Firstly a wooden 'canvas' make featuring those old favourites of mine - winter trees, which are such versatile stamps....

I have covered my block in paint, handmade papers, tissue, stencilling and stamping. And then I have stamped trees stamps CI-209, and CI-429 onto white tissue and applied them over the top, before spraying with acrylic varnish (this makes the tissue almost transparent).  Rather liking the whole effect!

My second lot of images is of die cut gift bags, decorated with CI bits and bobs...

Each one has an MDF lovely on it, which you can find on our site in this section HERE, plus stamping and some mini images appear too, from our People and Places Book 2.

I now have a couple of beautiful cards for you by Sylvie, with gorgeous 'Gelli' backgrounds....

Loving these - overstamped with CI-391 and CI-385 - they are glorious!

My final image is of a card made by Joanna, complete with pink sparkle - beautiful indeed!....

CI-430 looking lovely here plus butterflies stamped onto parchment and an appearance from our Floral Branch Die.

Thank you for your visit,

CATCHING UP AGAIN...

This is me having a bit of a catch up session tonight by gathering some more team makes together to show you, that have been waiting in the wings for a little while.  Thanks for the sweet comments left on my last post welcoming Florence to the CI fold - nice to know you are all looking forward to seeing more from that clever lady, but meanwhile I have makes below from Coco, Daniele, Sylvie and Helen.  I will begin with a decorated box I did a little while ago - another good chance to show off some of the lovely gold coloured hardware we are selling in the pages of this web section HERE, as well as an MDF decorative frame addition (lovely to stamp on), and tulips stamp CI-388....

My next two cool makes are from Coco, featuring one of the latest Alice stamps...

Swiftly followed by 3 lovely cards by Daniele...

The first two are made with tag stamps from CI-431 and the third using some of the trees from CI-429.

Sylvie has made fabulous cards using CI-427, CI-428, CI-431 and CI-432,  and also the fisherman's stamp CI-412...

And Helen has again used some of the tags stamps on this glorious canvas 'for a man'...

You can view the appropriate team member's blog by following the links here on the right hand side.

Thanks for joining us, it's lovely to have your company,

Back soon,
