TREES....

Just recovering from a luscious Sunday Lunch out in Yarm this afternoon.  Still very full and now very sleepy - but time still for a quick blog post, and I think I will concentrate on tree images this evening.  As you know I have been playing around with tree stamps a lot recently, and I will also add some other makes about trees from the team.

Mine are bright and full of colour....

The assorted trees are stamped on tissue paper which was then applied to painted canvas, and then stitched with my old Singer sewing machine (love doing these).  Trees from CI-209, and CI-429.

Helen Chilton has been playing with the same trees and with reflections.  She did a bit of a step by step for us which I will upload below.  I don't think you need the wording really as the images are descriptive enough in themselves.....

The reflections aren't strictly accurate, but certainly give great effect!!  Here are a couple more in different colourways.....

Loving the last one in particular - very moody!

I also used trees on the following colourful blocks....

I have had great fun experimenting with paint and stencils, trees, tissue, and foils!

What else can I find featuring trees? A Christmas card from Sylvie....

 And another by Lynne....

And another by Coco (with a little Christmas tree).....

Then a journal page by Coco.....

Another card by Flo....

Plus this very pretty card by Sylvie, and its upside down trees, also with an accompanying step by step.....

Some of the other stamps appearing in the above are from CI-257, CI-282 and CI-399

Phew that's a lot of images I uploaded.  Hope you enjoyed them!

Lots more to come,

JUST 4 DAYS OF WINTER FROST TO GO.....

And then the current November Challenge will come to an end.  Have a look at the entries so far HERE, and there's just enough time left to join in if you can.

Have you had a chance to watch The Craft Channel yet?  Its a great tv channel for watching craft demos, and it was lovely to see Wendie Rhodes in action recently with lots of CI goodies in the demos and on sale.  Thanks Wendie you were brill!  It looks like we are on again next Thursday at 9am, so do have a look.

I still have lots of Winter Frost makes to inspire you from the teamies and will pop some of them below, with links, and more to follow.....

Firstly makes by Effie (who is the judge of this Challenge), some of which appeared in our most recent mailing list newsletter...

All so very pretty and festive, using flowers from CI-445 , as well as the curly words from CI-446 (which are both on special offer just till tomorrow).

Next I have some lovely cards by Joanna, again so pretty and festive....

As well as the words again Joanna has also used the tree plate CI-257, a tag from CI-447, and the Christmas image book in her cards.

Next I have some more beauties from lovely Lynne...

Fabulous photographs Lynne, again featuring those very festive curly words!

Hope you are all enjoying your Christmas shopping, and have made all your Christmas cards (I haven't yet - help!).

Back with more soon,

A CONTINUING WINTER FROST.....

I am continuing tonight with the theme of the latest challenge, which is 'Winter Frost'. The entries have begun to appear here, on my last post, so do take a look and link in your festive make soon too!

Here are some more makes by the team.  I adore this beautiful box by Coco.  What a delight......

Its quite sparkly in person, even though sparkle is often tricky to show in a photo.  Quite a few CI stamps appear on here including the village from CI-448, the holly from CI-141, trees from CI-257,  and lovely festive words from CI-446,  thanks Coco!

Here is a lovely card by Flo (again featuring the village above) - utterly gorgeous!

Plus another card beauty from Daniele, made with our Magical Reindeer.....

And finally Laury has made this very lovely festive hanging....

CI-429 and CI-426 looking stunning here!

Lots more yet to show you during the month.  And don't forget to link in!

NOVEMBER CI CHALLENGE - WINTER FROST

Plus an emailed entry from Alison..

Hope you all had a good Halloween.  No callers at my door the other night, which is very unusual indeed - however all the local children around have just about grown up, so lots of sweeties left in my cupboard (...I'll just have to eat them myself then!!).

Just slightly late with the new November Challenge, but here I am with the topic for our last challenge before Christmas 2015 (where did that year go?!).  Effie is in charge of November, and has picked the lovely theme of 'Winter Frost'.  So I guess anything winteryish with a touch of snow or glitter would be perfect for this theme.  We do hope you will join in with something wintery or christmassy!

Here are the usual guidelines:

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES
To enter this month's Crafty Individuals Challenge please put together your chosen project, which must include at least one Crafty Individuals product please, then post your Challenge project on your Blog, before the end of the month, and include a link back to this Blog.  Leave a link in the URL box displayed in this post to take us directly to your Challenge project, which will then appear on this Blog as a thumbnail image - so we can all see your wonderful arty work.  If you don't have a blog we are happy to accept emailed image entries too.

At the end of the month Effie will set about choosing five lucky participants, each of whom will win a CI rubber stamp of their choice, and don't forget that as per usual, once you have linked in your creation, you can also claim a lovely 25% discount code to use on anything you purchase from the CI Website, which will be valid to use until the 10th of December.

Go for it, and enjoy the challenge x

....

As always we very much look forward to seeing your entries - you will be in with a chance of winning a free stamp, and you will also be able to obtain a cool 25% CI web discount.  When you have linked in your entry please email us at info@craftyindividuals.co.uk to obtain your special code, and then go shopping!
.....

Normally I would display Effie's makes first, however I have asked her to do a bit of a step by step, as her Winter Frost inspirational projects are delightful.  So Effie's beautiful makes will follow on during the month ahead - here is just a little taster close up of one of them for you now:

Fabulous!  However I do have makes by other teamies of course to inspire, starting with this gorgeous snowy scene from lovely Florence (tree from the popular stamp CI-209)....

Followed by a couple of beauties from lovely Joanna (featuring CI-448, and CI-446 and an image from our 'Merry Christmas' mini book) ....

Finally a very lovely Christmas ornament from lovely Lynne - so pretty (made with a mini canvas back and a curly word from CI-446)!...

Lots more lovelies to come throughout November.

Looking forward to seeing YOUR make.  Thanks for the ongoing kind and caring comments.
