We are having a very busy time with lots of orders as a result of introducing you all to our 4 new stamps, plus the spin off from our 'Create and Craft' airtime with Dawn Bibby (how great were her 'Vintage' shows?!) - you can check out the specific show videos HERE and HERE (hopefully!).
Anyway for those of you who haven't yet seen them yet these are the new stamps:
A pretty little birdcage
CI-320
CI-321
Two rather cute elephants
And a simple sample card I made using the elephant duo:
Plus some very fashionable ladies: CI-322 and CI-323
(in a smaller and larger size)
I showed you a sneaky peak of a die cut (Sizzix large die) 'book' I made with the above images a few days ago, and this is the whole of the book:
In the above project I used one of my favourite current 'craft' materials to give the pages a softer, more fabric/haberdashery feel. I bought a roll of this scrim from a bargain bucket in a shop some time ago, but only recently found out what it really is designed for. You will find it in big DIY chains, and it is called Plasterers Cotton Scrim (not to be confused with the more modern plastic variety). And you get lots of metres for very little cost. It can be dyed with sprays etc., to match your projects too. Definately a good and useful purchase!
.........
To move on - I will be blogging details of the JULY CHALLENGE tomorrow - how did it get to 1st July already? Please check back to see the fab 'team' samples as inspiration, and do get cracking with the crafting tools and join in with July's challenge and help our challenges to continue to be a feast for the eyes.
Finally tonight I have some BLOG CANDY to offer you. This time around I would like you to leave a comment at the end of this post, and I will pick one comment owner out at random to win the all the lovely items below (winner will be blogged tomorrow) - so get those fingers typing folks - and many thanks to all who regularly leave lovely comments, they are always appreciated.
Back tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteI love the new stamps, especially the Flapper stamps.
Scrim is wonderful. That is what I've used on recent CI artwork. I either paint it or dye with homemade spray inks. The possibilities are wonderful and little scraps add a nice finishing touch to cards, etc.
A beautiful card you created.
Wishes
Lynne
