NEW STAMPS AVAILABLE NOW!

We are having a very busy time with lots of orders as a result of introducing you all to our 4 new stamps, plus the spin off from our 'Create and Craft' airtime with Dawn Bibby (how great were her 'Vintage' shows?!) - you can check out the specific show videos HERE and HERE (hopefully!).

Anyway for those of you who haven't yet seen them yet these are the new stamps:

A pretty little birdcage
CI-320

CI-321
Two rather cute elephants

And a simple sample card I made using the elephant duo:

Plus some very fashionable ladies:  CI-322 and CI-323
(in a smaller and larger size)

I showed you a sneaky peak of a die cut (Sizzix large die) 'book' I made with the above images a few days ago, and this is the whole of the book:

In the above project I used one of my favourite current 'craft' materials to give the pages a softer, more fabric/haberdashery feel.  I bought a roll of this scrim from a bargain bucket in a shop some time ago, but only recently found out what it really is designed for.  You will find it in big DIY chains, and it is called Plasterers Cotton Scrim (not to be confused with the more modern plastic variety).  And you get lots of metres for very little cost.  It can be dyed with sprays etc., to match your projects too.  Definately a good and useful purchase!

.........

To move on - I will be blogging details of the JULY CHALLENGE tomorrow - how did it get to 1st July already?  Please check back to see the fab 'team' samples as inspiration, and do get cracking with the crafting tools and join in with July's challenge and help our challenges to continue to be a feast for the eyes.

Finally tonight I have some BLOG CANDY to offer you.  This time around I would like you to leave a comment at the end of this post, and I will pick one comment owner out at random to win the all the lovely items below (winner will be blogged tomorrow) - so get those fingers typing folks - and many thanks to all who regularly leave lovely comments, they are always appreciated.

Back tomorrow!

JUNE CHALLENGE WINNERS........

Some lovely, lovely entries again this month, and Sue (who is having 'blogger' problems at the moment and apologises for not leaving any comments), has had a really difficult job in choosing the 5 'winners'.  However a decision has to be made eventually and here it is:

A simply beautiful cushion by the very talented Florence ..

A prettily vintage heart hanging by lovely Lynne (with a equally pretty story behind it) ...

A wonderful vintage 'house with a heart' by Paula ...

A sparkly Parisienne card with a lacey heart by Daniele .....

And last but not least a very cleverly creative canvas by Suzanne ...

Just love them all!

Would be great if you would get in touch ladies - info@craftyindividuals.co.uk - and let us know which stamp you would like as your prize.

Thanks to all for entering.  Keep tuned for the next challenge at the beginning of July, and more blog candy up for grabs soon.

NEW STAMPS COMING VERY SOON, AND ONLY 5 CHALLENGE SUBMISSION DAYS LEFT!

Some new stamps will be available on our CI Website very soon - I love it when we have new products, its so exciting seeing the plates arrive and then testing out the designs when the rubber is pressed.  We are really pleased with the quality we are getting these days - we use the best metal design plates and recently we have been able to purchase even better quality red rubber, as I do like to get a nice clear image.  I hope you are enjoying the quality too?

Anyway here is a very sneaky peak of a couple of the new rubber images in action:

I am having great fun getting inky with these!

We are getting some lovely projects entered in this month's CHALLENGE; please check out the entries and the blogs you can link to, as there is some gorgeous work to inspire you out there.  With thanks to the entrants for sharing their talent with us!  Only 5 days to go to get your project linked to us - so get those crafting fingers working fast.

Have any of you been watching Create and Craft recently?  Dawn Bibby - our UK crafting star, has moved over to this popular channel and has been creating and crafting with our very own stamps and books - starting with Christmas in June!!! I even got a glimpse of some of my own samples on there.  Keep watching as there are more CI products to come.

Now to a little more inspiration from the 'team'.  Isabelle has sent over this delectable card using CI-285 and a very pretty colour scheme.

And Zuzu has made a soooo lovely box using some of our early calligraphy stamps - CI-012, CI-020 and CI-053 - great altered art!

To finish tonight here is one of Lucy's sweet cards using the ever popular stamp CI-182, plus CI-258, and two elements plates CI-206 and CI-292.

Finally as a little reward to our lovely, lovely followers, I am going to pick out one of you at random from time to time and send you a little surprise gift.  Tonight I have clicked on Bianca Kalksma, and we will be sending Bianca one of the brand new rubber stamps - hope you like it Bianca.

Bye for now.

HSNW - A group of very Happy Stampers!

There were no posts last weekend as Malcolm and I spent an enjoyable weekend in the Liverpool area of the UK.  On Saturday we had a large workshop day of fun and crafting with the lovely ladies of the HSNW club in the seaside town of West Kirby.  We took a few pics to show you:

Plus images of just a few of the projects made by the ladies during the day:

Thanks to all of you for coming, helping with everything, and for the hospitality.

The next HSNW show is at Port Sunlight on Saturday, 11 October.  It is a ticket only event so look out for further details during August on their website.

Then we had a day off on Sunday and a trip to Chester.  Sadly it rained all day, but we still had a good day, doing what I like doing best (after crafting and designing) - coffee shop visiting, and a bit of retail therapy, and Malcolm (bless him!) indulges me quite happily on this one.

I have a few other things to show you over the next few posts, and I will pop a couple of them below now.  Firstly a gorgeous postcard sent over to us by Samantha Read - so, so pretty, thanks Sam.

And finally for tonight a very pretty little picture by Ginger, who also has a 'Folksy' shop where you can buy some of her lovely pieces of artwork HERE.  The picture is another inspirational project on the theme of the Current CI Challenge - Vintage, with a Heart.

Have a lovely evening everyone.  Back soon.

BLOG CANDY

As promised here is our first issue of 'blog candy'.  I know we all like a little bit of something for free in life so we have put together a little collection of products and everyone reading this post before 5pm tomorrow, 8th June, (UK time) is welcome to try to win the candy.

All you have to do is send an email to us at Crafty Individuals, with the wording 'BLOG CANDY PLEASE' - you will find a link under the 'contact us' info on our Website, and the winner will be the 10th email we receive before the closing time tomorrow.  Of course you may only send us one email during this time to qualify.

We will then contact the winner for their address info and send out the goodies.  So go on - give it a go!

This is what you will win this time around:

Two stamps, a mini image book, a glossy sheet, a pack of die cuts, a badge, a mirror, a wooden tray, and a pack of German scrap.

We will be putting up more blog candy from time to time on this blog,  so do keep checking back.

Good luck!

ANOTHER 'VINTAGE WITH A HEART' INSPIRATIONAL PROJECT +

Well we have our first entry in the June Challenge - thanks Zoe, it is beautiful!  And I have here another inspirational piece on the Challenge theme by our Zuzu who has made one of her rich colourful pieces using CI-301 as the focal image.  Zuzu also has a 'Folksy' shop here where you can buy some of her handmade goodies at extremely reasonable prices.

Also want to mention that as you are liking the new pendant tray sets available on the website we have also added a 1" square set, perfect for those smaller images - either stamped or taken straight from our mini image books.

And a few finished ones:

Meanwhile Malcolm has been having a fun photography session at a local 'Classic Car' show, with a view to a new glossy sheet.  He really enjoyed this, so keep an eye out for new glossies in the not too distant future.  Here is a little taster:

I feel some 'men's cards' coming on!

Meanwhile I continue playing with my tags, and the new glossy sheets - 'A Nice Cup of Tea' combined with our die-cut swirly frames - don't we all just love a nice cup of tea?

Seen here from behind with a strut back:

And finally I had to show you another 'corset' project by Lynne, which is just so pretty, as always.  Lynne has a bit of a thing for corsets it seems!  Many thanks Lynne, always lovely to see your work.

What a little beauty!

Keep checking back as there will be blog candy around soon, and you will all be able to play along.

And thanks as always for your encouraging comments, its lovely to hear from you.

Enjoy your weekend!

CHALLENGE SUBJECT - VINTAGE 'WITH A HEART'

This month's subject has been chosen by Sue Abbott and is a vintage project, which must have a heart shape incorporated somewhere within it.  Sue will also be in charge of choosing the five 'winners' this time around.  As inspiration she has made a beautiful concertina book which can be seen in all its glory on her blog HERE, so do check it out as it is so gorgeous.  This is the very pretty front cover and one inside page only:

Sue has also sent images of some other delightful projects that also fit the bill:

Now I will show you images from the other member of the 'team', and I hope you find them inspiring:

Firstly one from myself - a very girly hanging:

Then a really lovely decorated box and contents made by Lucy Edmondson:

and the contents:

An amazing bag made by Zuzu:

And the view from the side (with a heart):

Now one of Isabelle's always lovely creations, and if you check out her blog now you will find step by step instructions for this card too:

Helen in her usual imaginative way has come up with a different use for one of our new badges and made a lovely little necklace:

Ginger has made a delightful 'heart' hanging:

And Crafty Tassy has made a lovely and colourful card:

Hope you have found the images inspirational, please do join in and we will be using the same 'InLinkz' system as before.  Don't forget your project should include at least one of our products please.

Entries can be linked in to this blog starting from today until midnight on 25th June.  Have fun!
