THE END IS NIGH....

.... for the Challenge that is!  Only a couple of hours left on the clock for the January Challenge.  Not as many entries this time, but the ones we have are superb, and the linkers really took the Scenic Stamping topic to heart!

This is just a quick post to show you the rest of the team's inspiration on the theme.  I'm loving the piccies I have to show you tonight and want to get them blogged before time runs out on us!

Firstly a beautiful cityscape by Brenda - in such lovely hues and blues, and very thoughtfully put together....

Brenda has used CI-359 on her make - which of course is perfect for general stamping if you mask out the Christmas tree.  She has also made use of ephemera stamping from CI-239 - with great effect.

I have a couple of pretty little makes by Gio next still on the scenic theme (CI-278 upper, appears here, amongst others such as CI-377 lower)....

And finally some really lovely creative makes by Effie.....

So many CI stamps and stuff above, and very clever, vibrant, and very scenic indeed.  Stamps CI-278, CI-397 and CI-284 make an appearance and more, including the new CI-429 tree stamps.

Thanks to all involved, and thanks for supporting the CI Challenge this month.

Bye for now, and back soon with the results as chosen by Coco.

Yes finally - I'm back with info on the winners of the giveaway mentioned last weekend.  Thank you to the 42 commentors who joined in the fun with their kind remarks.  The first comment number out of the bag this time is number 4 'DORA'.  ....And we are giving away another extra set of 'tree' stamps to a lady who very cleverly came up with this little tree-mendous ditty:

Tree cheers for these just gorgeous stamps!
I know they're very Poplar

They would sure Spruce up my Box
Of Rubber stamps Fir crafting
Ash ure do hope I win them
If not I'll Pine away.....while someone else is laughing!

That would be clever 'CATHERINE' then (comment number 8)! Well done ladies - Please email us at info@craftyindividuals.co.uk with your addresses so that we can get your stamp sets in the post to you early next week!

I'm still in tree mode and this is another one of my scenic tree canvas makes - this time with a lovely silvery moon behind the brand new tree stamp set CI-429.  I'm calling this 'By the Light of the Silvery Moon' funnily enough....

If you haven't as yet acquired any of the tree stamps including the new set, and you are wanting too - be very quick and you will find they are still on special offer - just haven't had chance to take the offer off yet!

Still on the subject of the current Challenge for January - 'Scenic Stamping' - details of which you will find HERE - I am going to pop below some lovely card makes by team member Sylvie.  They weren't made specifically for this challenge, but I really think they fit the theme well....

Made with Crafty Individuals stamps such as CI-425, CI-393, CI-401 and CI-375 I love the simplicity of these and the colours are gorgeous.  Thank you Sylvie.

Back soon with more great makes,

Bye for now,

ITS TREE FEST WEEK AND ITS SCENIC STAMPING SATURDAY AS WELL....

We are having a 'Tree Fest Week' over at www.craftyindividuals.co.uk, which means our tree themed rubber stamps are on special offer for the week, and if you are on our mailing list you will have recently received a newsletter with details of a new tree stamp release and with a tree make tutorial combined all in one, in celebration of 'Tree Fest Week'!!

This is the brand new stamp release, CI-429 'Trees Galore':

And this is one way of using it, where I combined canvas, acrylic paint, and stamped tissue paper, with the addition of net and nylon fabric here and there, to make this piccie:

I also think this piccie would nicely fit in with the current Challenge month theme of 'Scenic Stamping' - check it out HERE, and I will post below some more similar makes piccies, sporting some more CI tree stamps, cos as you know I get a bit obsessed with some techniques and just can't stop playing!!

Here are a few others:

......

I had great fun making them, hope you likey and fancy making one too?!

Gildenglitz gilding flakes for creating those metallic suns and moons -

and Cotton Canvas in 1/4 metre lengths for you to tear/cut up to make your own 'tree-mendous' canvasses:

CREATING A BIT OF A SCENE....

Hi Everyone - Back tonight with a continuation of our 'Scenic Stamping' Challenge inspiration!  Nice to see some fantastic entries appearing already - do have a look at them Here and please join in by linking up your version of Scenic Stamping soon.  It is lovely to have our friend Coco in charge of this Challenge, and some time ago she sent me lots of pictures showing how she went about making her new Blog header image.  I thought the time was right, and the Challenge title perfect, to show you some of the images today, and here they are!

This is the actual header - can't make it any bigger sadly here, so do check out Coco's blog for the fuller picture....

I love the step by steps, and don't think you need a written explanation as the images speak for themselves...

Lots of CI products making an appearance here. I hope the steps are appearing here in the right order as for some reason they got a little mixed up when trying to upload them.  Cool though aren't they?

I am also going to insert a very cleverly decorated basket by Gio in this post too, as it is another great example of Scenic Stamping for you, and I'm loving the colours, the lace, and the finished article....

And here are the step by steps using stamps CI-137 and CI-411....

Simply gorgeous in pink and orange and emerald green!

And my final make tonight is an adorable scenic card by Daniele, made using stamps CI-422 and CI-206.....

Loving all that luscious pink!  Thanks to the ladies above for their help and attention, and thanks to you too for joining us today.

Back soon,

Jean x

p.s. Better do a giveaway next time I think as we haven't had one for ages!
