WE HAVE A WINNER AND FURTHER FACES.....

Our recent mini challenge was to name the CI stamps used in the above makes beautifully decorated by Florence.  The stamps are CI-389, CI-101, CI-159, CI-346, CI-305, CI-338.

We have a winner for the complete set of new issue stamps,  all 6 of which can be viewed HERE.
I am delighted to say that correct entry number 6 - Alice P was the first pulled 'out of the hat'.  If Alice P could send her address please to info@craftyindividuals.co.uk we will get her lovely new stamps in the post.

....

We are having a few days break very soon, and therefore I would like to post the remaining pieces of the 'Face Value' challenge team inspiration tonight, as my next post in early August will be regarding the 5 'winners' of the challenge as chosen at the end of July by Florence.  However there are still 9 days to go to link up your entry, so plenty of time to complete your 'Face' masterpiece!!!

I have makes by Coco, Lynne, Florence and Gio on the 'Face' theme to display..

Coco has made an envelope full of beautiful tags, using a lovely assortment of CI stamps and dies (the dies are still on a 'too good to miss' special offer to be found if you scroll through the Sale pages HERE)....

Florence has 3 great makes to display below.  Two brooches can be seen first (loving the handmade beads and the painted domino), plus another using more lolly sticks to make a complete and clever image...

Stamps used in the above are CI-338, CI-394, and CI-159.

Lynne has made a beautiful hanging, and I adore the close-ups....

Stamp CI-418, and CI-423 feature here.

Finally Gio has sent over an image of a card sporting her latest lovely stamp CI-441 - looking just gorgeous against a background of CI-443!

Thanks everyone,

Back soon,

MORE FACES AND POSSIBLE BLOG CANDY TOO.....

I have more superb 'faces' makes from the team tonight.  Our Challenge continues and can be viewed HERE.  There are two weeks left to go before closing and we do hope you will join in and link in your 'face' make, which can feature anything that can be said to have a face within (lots of scope here!).

Laury has made an extremely useful and very pretty item, which will be great to take on those summer holidays, for emergency use....

Laury has featured the lady from CI-414 on the front cover, and butterflies from CI-437 inside.

Sylvie has been busy creating with Gio's ladies (just perfect for this challenge)....

Both beautifully bright and colourful, and very contemporary cards.

And Florence has made another gorgeous card with one of the ladies - and has added an 'Alice' bunny too - simply stunning!....

Plus how's this for creativity? - Flo has decorated wooden lolly sticks with lots of faces and colour - just fabby!...

On this note I have an extra little challenge for you this evening - if you can give us the six main CI numbers of the stamps used above on the sticks by Flo, you will be placed in a draw where one of you will win all six of our latest rubber stamp releases - check them out HERE.  Please leave a little comment below, but send your actual number list to info@craftyindividuals.co.uk
You have around five days to send us your list.

Back soon,

Have a lovely weekend,

Hugs and smiles,

BRAND NEW DESIGNS AND MORE AT FACE VALUE.....

Hello Everyone - Hope you got your email telling you about the brand new stamps?!  I love this release of stamps as there is so much loveliness to work with!

Here they are just to remind you...

Starting with CI-438 - a very useful Words and Wishes stamp (I'm already using this one lots), then CI-439 - a partner stamp to CI-402, but featuring a more mature couple, followed by CI-440 (adorable teddies), CI-441 (a beautiful new one by Gio), CI-442 and a XL sized stamp CI-443 (both drawn beautifully by lovely Linda).  For ease you can find all of them in the New Products section on the CI Website, and they are all on a special introductory offer right now.

Laury has already used some of them very prettily below....

More newbie makes to follow.

However we are now well on the way with a new Challenge - 'Face Value' and we already have six very creative entries which can be found HERE.  I have more inspiration for you to help you with your ideas, and next I have some from Gio, whose own pretty stamp designs are just perfect for this challenge....

How cool is the feathery dress? - lovely idea Gio!

Just time for one more make I think.  A real beauty from Helen....

The butterflies are very glittery and delicious and are from CI-437.  Great face painting too Helen.

Back soon,

Bye for now,

FACE VALUE.......

Emailed entry from Alison Rock:

Hi there - I'm back with details of the new Challenge for July.  Its an exciting one and open to all, and has a great theme chosen by our newest teamie - the lovely Florence!!  This delightful theme is 'FACE VALUE', which has lots of scope for stamping.

So basically you need to incorporate anything that has a face in your make, which is wide open to your own interpretation and can include people of course, but also animals and birds, and such applicable subject matter that can be found in many of our stamps and mini images, and in all the collections!  We are really excited waiting to see your ideas and you can link your entry in at the top of this post as soon as it is ready.

Here are the usual guidelines:

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES
To enter this month's Crafty Individuals Challenge please put together your chosen project, which must include at least one Crafty Individuals product please, then post your Challenge project on your Blog, before the end of the month, and include a link back to this Blog.  Leave a link in the URL box displayed in this post to take us directly to your Challenge project, which will then appear on this Blog as a thumbnail image - so we can all see your wonderful arty work.  If you don't have a blog we are happy to accept emailed image entries too.

At the end of the month Florence will set about choosing five lucky participants, each of whom will win a CI rubber stamp of their choice, and don't forget that as per usual, once you have linked in your creation, you can also claim a lovely 25% discount code to use on anything you purchase from the CI Website, which will be valid to use until the 10th of August.

Go for it, and enjoy the challenge x
.......
As always we very much look forward to seeing your entries - you will be in with a chance of winning a free stamp, and you will also be able to obtain a cool 25% CI web discount.  When you have linked in your entry please email us at info@craftyindividuals.co.uk to obtain your special code, and then go shopping!

Now for some inspiration next.  Let's start with some real beauties from Florence herself.  She has used Gio's collection of stamps here (which of course are absolutely perfect for this challenge)....

I love how Flo has coloured these images and I think she has been so clever with the third image of the lovely mermaid - now why didn't I think of that?!  I also adore the seahorses in the background which are from CI-272 (as is the wording).  Lovely paper backgrounds on the first two are from our latest background papers book, 'A Weekend in Seville'.

I still have another make by Florence which is also gorgeous, and with a beautiful repeating face.....

Also loving the colours here - I think Flo has painted everything white, with gesso I should think, and then re-coloured with paints and sprays perhaps.  The repeating lady is from CI-238, and the film strip MDF laser cut can be found in the Must Haves section - Here.

Daniele has also sent over her pretty wedding themed face make - this time the face she has chosen is from our People & Places 2 mini book (which is on a great Special Offer deal at the moment).....

Loving all the gold, and of course we have flower faces and butterflies (I reckon they could be said to have a face too somewhere!).  The flowers are from CI-206 and the background stamp in gold is CI-435.  I think the frame will be one of the ones you can find Here.

I have also made a card with faces - in my case a dancing lady's face and a clock face.  I bought a pack of the cards from the Which Craft stand at Doncaster (Tent Cards).....

And I used the lady stamp from CI-346 and the clock face from CI-354.  Flowers again from CI-206.

Hopefully the above makes will have given you a few ideas to get you going with this 'Face Value' Challenge for July.  Please do join in as without you there really isn't a reason for a Challenge!

Thanks for viewing,

Back soon with more good stuff, and thanks for maybe leaving an encouraging comment,

Jean x
