It was a fantastic day Lesley and I spent at Hochanda on Wednesday, we hope you managed to catch the shows?! We were amazed and delighted at how many of you placed orders and we had some super cool sell-outs and items placed on extended delivery despatch. Thank you all so much for your continuing support! We are sure you will have lots of fabulous fun with your winter tree themed purchases! Do let us know how you get on with your stamping and we always love to see your samples.
Of course we now have lots of images to share with you over the next few weeks, and to make a start here are the tree cards with reflections, as appeared on the shows...
Tree stamps used are from: CI-429, CI-450, and CI-209. I had a whale of a time making these. I built up a background using Distress Oxides and created a reflection using the appropriate rubber stamp, an Archival Cobalt stamp pad and a piece of acetate. All our tree stamps are perfect for this fabulous, easy to achieve technique.
Here below are the two fantastic makes from the shows by lovely Lesley Wharton, what a star she is!! Thank you Lesley!
Whilst I am talking about Lesley's loveliness - did you hear about our joint weekend workshops coming up in the Spring, called 'Art, Stamp and Play'? They will take place on 21st and 22nd April in the North East of England, and will involve lots of messy and creative fun - we can't wait! We are working on collecting together more details for you but in the meantime if you would like to be added to the list of interested crafty persons please email us at: info@craftyindividuals.co.uk or sales@chocolatebaroque.com to express your interest. Lots of yays!
Happy stamping,
Back soon,
Jean x

I enjoyed the shows, and I loved all of the demonstrations and the brilliant art work. Winter Walkies is gorgeous, I hope you will have it on your site to buy soon !
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards from you and Lesley Jean and I enjoyed seeing you both on Hochanda. If only I lived up north I would be there for sure, but unfortunately I am in the south west so too far away, but am sure you will be inundated with requests for places. x
ReplyDeleteI managed to see snippets of both shows in-between helping our son with his homework! Congratulations on such beautiful stamps and papers! Please write some tutorials or videos of your techniques of you can!I can'twait for these to be in store....any time frame?
ReplyDeleteThese reflections scenes are fabulous, Jean! Of course I have a weakness for trees so I already have lots if not all of the CI tree stamps... Lesley landscape is equally gorgeous with a wonderful sky. I will try and manage to watch the shows later.
ReplyDeleteWow gorgeous samples I love the trees and I love all the backgrounds and designs, super!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!!
Maria
Two wonderful shows Jean and the demos by yourself and Lesley were fabulous, as are the stunning samples above. I love your tree stamps and the possibilities with them are endless. I also adore your new stamps, especially ‘Winter Walkies.’ This is a stamp that will lend itself to all seasons, and it works beautifully with your other new releases. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to seeing more beautiful samples from these sets. Wishing you a happy and colourful weekend. Crafty hugs, Sandra x x
ReplyDeleteAmazing works! Love the use of colors with these fab stamps! So inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHi there Jean, loved your shows, fabulous techniques and love the new stamps. I would love to come to the weekend workshops, but Inverness is so far away, perhaps one day though, bet it's a fabulous time, Kate x
ReplyDeleteSo happy to have been able to watch entirely already the first show Jean. I will look at the second one in its whole tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteYou have been fantastic, as well as Lesley!
And all these reflections scenes are a pure delight...wow!
Lesley samples are also gorgeous!!
Congratulations to you both, and Good luck for the workshops together, another exciting adventure!
I sincerly regret to be too far away from you, to participate to it
Hugs,
Coco xx
What a great news about that selling.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful show. I love what Lesley have made and what you did with the paint. Beautiful show.
Great cards too!
Have a nice sunday.
The samples at the shows were great, but the part I enjoy most is the demo-part; what great backgrounds did you make! All the samples are so inspiring and fun for every stamper to try!
ReplyDeleteThe reflection-cards are super!
Will be great to see the samples here and take the time to look at them!
Enjoy the sunday!
Beautiful designs Jean and the weekend sound interesting too !
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your stamps and always have. I really enjoyed seeing you on Hochanda and have been looking out for 'Winter Walkies' as I already own 'Winter Trees' and am so pleased to have placed an order today.
You always inspire me and I will always follow what you do,especially as I'm from the same part of the world as you in nearby Coulby Newham.
Jayne xx
