NEW CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS CHALLENGE STARTS TODAY....

Don't be an April fool - join us in the April Challenge now (go on you just know you want to!) - and whats more there are prizes to be won!  So without further ado I will fill you in on the details.

I have chosen this month's theme and as we have recently changed over to British Summertime here in the UK I thought it would be cool to have a 'TIME FOR SUMMER' Challenge.  You can interpret this by introducing clocks and time into your project or just simply go for a general Summertime layout, so it leaves the door wide open for lots of beautiful crafty projects to be linked in to this post with our usual inlinkz tool.

Please note:  You must incorporate at least one Crafty Individuals product in your project please.

You will be able to submit your project images up until midnight on 28th April, so you really don't have an excuse not to get inked up and raring to go.  The general guidelines will follow below as always -

......

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES

To enter this month's Crafty Individuals Challenge please put together your project, following the subject material outlined above (your project should include at least one Crafty Individuals product please), then:

Post your Challenge project on your blog, before the 28th of the month, and include a link back to this blog.

Leave a link in the URL box to take us directly to your Challenge project, etc. - which will then appear here on this blog as a thumbnail image - so we can all see your wonderful work.

At the end of the month the CI team and/or guests will set about choosing five lucky participants, each of whom will win a CI rubber stamp of their choice.

Go for it and enjoy the challenge x

......

I have lots of very lovely artwork to show you as inspiration around the theme of 'Time for Summer', and I will post some of it below, and save some for later.

So here goes with my own offering which was actually created for the Whitby Workshops we held recently (more images from the workshops will also follow in another post soon), and was the project we tackled on the second day.  As it is a decorated clock in a seaside theme it also seemed perfect for this Challenge too (and the clock works!) ....

Plus close-ups:

The Whitby ladies made their own incredible interpretations on this theme which I will show you as ongoing inspiration later.

* You might have noticed a couple of exciting new stamps popping up in the decorations - these are the current Subscription Offer with the brand new Craft Stamper issue (so new that we haven't as yet got it in stock, but watch out for it on this web page soon).

Moving on swiftly to some more gorgeous work by Sue based on 'Time for Summer' -

Such a very pretty card Sue!

And another card by Helen again in a colourful and creative seaside style - yum!

And lastly for tonight a fairy lovely box from Jo created with our portrait style tags -

That's it for tonight folks, hope inspiration has struck.  Blogger is giving me the right runaround tonight and everything is taking an eternity to upload.  Hopefully it will be back on form next time.  Don't forget to join in our new Challenge - we are expecting you!

Bye for now,

Jean x

Hi Jean, I wish you had posted this challenge last week! I had posted a fabby art journal page with all your Crafty Individuals clocks all over it! I'll work the old grey matter again, to create a summery page. Sounds like you had a great time in Whitby, best fish n chips in the world! Michelle x

Great theme and fabulous samples. Had to use the bathing beauty stamp set as it typifies summer.

I adore your clock, it is beautiful and I do hope you bring it to Port Sunlight next month so I can get a closer look. Love the theme and all the samples and can't wait for summer to arrive and to get out of all these dingy colours and into brights again.
Have put the link to my entry.
