If you live in or around the Tees Valley area (North East of England) do come and see Malcolm and I at Wynyard Hall this coming Wednesday or Thursday at their annual Enchanting Christmas Shopping Fayre. In my wisdom I decided we didn't have enough to do (lots of lols!!!), and I booked us in to have a very little stand at this fabulous festive fayre in an incredible location. However even little stands mean lots of work we've found! This time we will be selling our handmade goods, rather than craft products as such, and Malcolm's lovely photography too. I haven't done anything like this for years so have no idea how it will go - but the venue does attract good crowds - so fingers crossed xxx
Thought I would show you a little sample of what we have to offer:
I have been playing with TAP again - which you will find back in stock HERE. I printed a bit of background pattern onto the TAP via my computer printer, and then stamped over it by hand, using CI-320 (the stamp needs to work in reverse as you will get a mirror image - ie no text), and coloured with Copics. I then ironed the whole image onto white cotton, and then stretched the cotton over a square wooden block. I added ribbon, shell buttons (both from our site), and lace, then framed the block in a small white box frame...
I loved making this and intend to make some more soon (I love TAP me!!).
Now I'll show you a few more items - some re-jigged from previously made projects, some more 'rustic' Christmas cards (better take some of these as it is a Christmas Fayre after all!), and also some rather cool sticky note holders (idea pinched from some shop finds!), which are rather like easel cards with the sticky note pads as the 'prop'. As you will see everything, more or less, that I used in the making of these can be found on the CI Website.
Thought I'd add the bottom image so you get a better idea of how the note holder folds up. My regular local class ladies (yes you know who you are!!) really loved making these - they make perfect Christmas presents and very easy to do (and useful too - what more could you want in life??)
And finally I will show you a couple of Malc's lovely images - very ethereal I think - transport me to that place now!!
Now I realise most of you just don't live anywhere in the vicinity - but if you do it would be great to see you there!
Sweet dreams everyone,
Jean x
ps Back with more sparkle soon!

Gorgeous canvas and I so like the feel of your cards.
The sticky note holders will be well received as everyone is looking for little stocking filler gifts.
