Hope you are all enjoying a little bit of sunshine today - so lovely after all that rain! Malcolm's eyesight is coming back a bit at a time, so that's fantastic news. However I'm full of cold, which is a bit miserable, so here are some new images and projects hopefully to add a little more sunshine and brightness in our lives, and cheer me up tonight!
Firstly I want to let you know that we have some new bits and pieces in our 'Must Haves' section on the website including some gorgeous laser cut frames by Aspire Crafts and this is what I did with the Oval Frame and a 6 inch square canvas...
As well as the oval frame I used parts of CI-384 (lighthouse and seagulls) in my frame and on my canvas. I also used the technique I mentioned previously, taught by Hels Sheridan, to decorate the background of the canvas with squares and oblongs of cream card, rubber stamped with a variety of CI stamps, such as CI-278 and CI-294. To colour I used Distress Ink pads, and a soft brush, plus acrylic paint on the frame and the sides of the canvas, and all highlighted with silver embossing powder to finish.
I decorated another canvas with the Oblong Dekro Frame, but I can only show you a sneaky peek of this one as it is going off to Craft Stamper very soon for publishing as a Summer magazine project..
In addition to the above there are some other packs of mounts - such as hearts and banners, now in stock too...
Whilst on the subject of 'new' I have some cheery images by the Team featuring our newest stamps. The following lovelies are by Brenda..
The above feature the new telephone chunky tag, and the steam train chunky tag, plus the 'Wishes' stamp and then some useful bits and bobs from CI-307.
And the tag below has the new chunky car tag and the medieval manuscript on board..
Effie was delighted to receive the steam train chunky tag stamp in the mail recently as she was in the process of designing for a 'Harry Potter' themed wedding at the time...
And Coco had a play with the newbies too..
As did Lucy...
(nice rusty cogs Lucy!)
And Gio..
All very creative indeed ladies!
Well I hope the above bits of gorgeousness added to the sunshine of your day today. Still more to come regarding the latest stamps very soon,
Bye for now,
Jean x
P.S. If you are a Follower and you leave a comment on this post soon you will be in with a chance of winning a full set of the newest stamps, featured above. And we all like a little bit of something for nothing now don't we?!
