SOME BAD NEWS ABOUT FRIENDS, ALONG WITH OTHER CRAFTY STAMPING NEWS....

Very sad indeed to hear this morning that Chocolate Baroque HQ was broken into last night and not only were all the weekend's Happy Stampers show takings stolen, but also computer, and other very important stuff, and to top it all off the thieves also trashed the place.  Our friends Lesley and David are generous and lovely people who have had tough times enough, and it is heartbreaking that this should happen to them!

What more can I say?! We wish them well and will help where we can.
On a happier note here are some photos from the aforementioned show, which was lovely, and we thank everyone who supported us...

Samples were made and displayed....

And the new stamps CI-493, CI-494 and CI-495 went down a treat...

Thanks to the CI Teamies who always do us proud and thanks to you for popping by today.

Back soon,
Jean x

I was so sorry to read about the break in. Bad enough that money and the computer were taken but to trash the place as well. It just beggars belief. I do hope that the police find them.

On a brighter note, the samples are fabulous - even better in real life and I'm loving crafting with your new (and old!) Stamps.

Lovely to see you again. xx

The samples look stunning. So many different ideas which show off the new stamps brilliantly. They are fabulous stamps :) Great photos of the show. It's nice to see what happens and how it works. Sorry to hear about CB. That's really awful.

I am so saddened to hear of the robbery and wanton destruction at CB. My thoughts and prayers go out to David and Lesley, what a nasty shock. I am sure that your encouragement and support will be much valued, and will help them get back on their feet. Theft is bad enough but to wreck a place is woeful indeed. Being able to look at beautiful art is a way to ease the tensions of the day and focus on what is good, beautiful and wholesome. Your creations are just that.

I was so sorry to read what had happened at CB. They must be devastated at what’s happened but I hope that they can take some comfort from all of the kind and supportive people around them. Great photos Jean and the samples are gorgeous, so many beautiful colours. Well done to all the talented people who made them. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Hi Jean, yes it is so awful for Lesley and David, mindless destruction, but they have loads of support so hopefully they will be back on their feet soon.
I do wish I lived further down the country to be able to come to your workshops, maybe one day you'll come to Bonnie Scotland.
The samples as always are stunning, Kate x

So awful what happened to CB/Lesley and Davids firm. Hope they are on top of things soon; I remember the angry and sad reactions of my parents when one of their shops was broken in. And for what...in that time there where no computers etc...

The show looks so good; wish I could come :) And I see you work on the same small space as I do most of the time...:) Hugs, Gerrina

The samples are amazing, I bet those catch a lot of attention along with your beautiful stamps.
It is really upsetting what happened to Chocolate Baroque, recovering will be hard for them, I wish all the best.

Absolutely unbelievable and disheartening... :( I'm so very sad to hear this news, but happy to hear your support for a fellow stamp company. I hope the show was a success for all and am thrilled to see these inspiring and beautiful samples. Big hugs, Autumn
