AN ASSORTMENT TONIGHT ....

Way past time for another little blog post!  So I have a bit of an assortment to show you here tonight.  We released our new stamps on Hochanda: landscapes put together for us by our own teamie Sandra, and I'm very pleased to say that you loved them as much as we do.  Here are a couple in their entirety...

Here is another by clever Sandra...

And one by clever Helen too..

I had a bit of a Play session Live earlier this week with alcohol inks and the new stamps (2.30pm on Wednesdays is my regular Live slot on our public Facebook page - do join me then)....

One of my earlier demos was based on a lovely card design by Lesley using one of Sharron's designs...

This is my take on it using a different stamp of ours.....

Great fun to make!

And finally here are a couple more cards from me using stamps, alcohol inks and our new sets of Wonderfully Weathered papers...

Thanks for looking

LOVELY, SCRUMMY, BACKGROUND PAPERS....

As you will know if you follow us on Facebook, or on here, we do have some fabulous new 'Wonderfully Weathered' background papers on the website at the moment.  I have coupled them with some substrates: chunky Tando tags, size 10, and with wood dimensional 'canvas' panels, on recent Live Facebook Demos - running on Wednesday's at 2.30pm.  Here are the finished items - 'canvas' first!..

Here is the chunky tag....

Both were great fun to make, and not difficult at all.  Please catch up on all the past Lives on our Facebook Page at: https://www.facebook.com/craftyindividuals/

Also we do have a Facebook Group now where you can peruse and add your own take on life using CI stamps and other stuff!  Do join us at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/craftyindividuals

BY AND IN, THE SEA...

A little catch up of images that were part of our recent Hochanda shows, based by the sea, and in the sea.

Loving these bright colours achieved by Helen using alcohol inks along with the turtles and seahorses and dolphins...

Here's a turtle image by Daniele too...

Love this seahorse by Sandra...

...And these dolphins by Sandra too...

Here is another seahorse card by Sally...

I made a seahorse tag, with the new 'Wonderfully Weathered' CI papers, during a Facebook Live Demo...

...And these are the wonderful papers (now on our website)...

One of the following journal pages was completed on Hochanda by moi....

..... I used the new stamps, one of our image sheets, 2 tags made out of Malcolm's photographic scene background papers, some hand drawn shells, and other background papers from our collection.  What a lot of fun we had down by the sea!

Finally I love this card made by Sally...

Such a terrifically talented team we do have!

Bye for now,

ABOUT TIME TOO I HEAR YOU SAY .....

Quite a while since my last post I know.  We had a week away in Northumberland, which was lovely, visiting beaches, pubs and art galleries.  What more can we ask for?!

Now all is crazy here getting ready for our upcoming shows on Hochanda.  We have 2 shows on Tuesday, 4th August, the first at 7am (eeek early I know!), and the second at 1pm.  It would be fantastic if you could join us, PJs perfectly acceptable attire of course.

I have a few sneaky peeks for you this evening, and I've picked out some bits and bobs from some of Helen's very colourful makes with the new rubber stamps that will feature.  Guess what the theme for the shows is?!..

Wow I do so love those bright colours.  Helen achieved these by using alcohol inks on glossy cardstock.  Must get those alcohol inks out again!  See the whole of Helen's project, and many more luscious team makes, on Hochanda TV on Tuesday.

On another note I have been demoing live on Facebook, the CI public page, on many Wednesdays since lockdown, and on Fridays we have some crafty chat and giveaways.  Both at 2.30pm.  Do join me this Friday here: https://www.facebook.com/craftyindividuals/

Here are the two makes from today's 'stamping onto acetate' demo.....

Fun to do but slipping whilst stamping onto acetate is one of the drawbacks, but thinking that this is where a stamping platform might help.  The background in both cases is one of Malcolm's photographic sheet backgrounds which you will find on our website HERE.  So much fun to use and embellish further.

Thanks for checking in.

A SUPER QUICK POST....

A very brief post before myself, Malcolm and Monty dog have a week's break.  If you follow on Facebook you will have seen my live demos on a Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 and my show and tells on a Friday at the same time.  The following couple of projects were from my last Wednesday Demo Day, complete with sequins and foil.....

Because of our little break there won't be any Live's from now until the 15th July.
Happy crafting everyone and thanks for your comments always,

THANKS AND SOME PICCIES...

Thanks for the comments on my last blog post.  Must take a photo of my old Singer Sewing Machine and pop it on here as suggested,  Also hope you get a bit more free time soon Coco, my friend!

I thought I would share a few of my recent journal pages on here, plus a lovely journal page from Daniele.  This is how it began for Daniele...

And this is how it ended up...

What a delight!

Here are my four pages, again featuring the latest stamps by the artist Sharron Bates....

I also made a little 'China Cupboard' using a little wooden tray (which had previously held craft embellishments), with one of Sharron's designs...

I demoed the process Live on our Facebook page.

In today's Live Demo I made this little card with a couple of our older stamps, a stencil and Distress Oxides....

Thanks for watching, and following,
