JUST A QUICKIE..

A quick mini post to let you know that I am the guest host on this week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge, with the theme of 'Celebrate'.  You will find details HERE, and you can check out the entries so far in the comments section at the bottom of the post.  I will be choosing 6 of my faves at the end of the week and they will each 'win' stamp CI-343.  You still have time to join in - your artwork must measure 6" x 4", and that is the only rule.  My inspirational 'Celebrate' postcard is featured below (complete with wonky stitching!):

I used CI-343, plus CI-334 to make my postcard, and the frame charm at the top can be found in our 'Must Haves' section HERE (a bargain at £1.35 per pack of 3 assorted).

That's all, as I'm off to watch 'Game of Thrones' - does anyone else out there follow this brilliant programme on Sky?

WE HAVE A BLOG CANDY WINNER AND ALSO NEW PRODUCTS ON THE WEBSITE NOW

In my last post I featured a pack of blog candy up for grabs, and now I can announce the winner.  A lady from Australia - Gail Hutchinson of NSW, is the lucky participant this time around, and Gail your lovely package is already on its way to you - enjoy!

Another announcement tonight is the addition of 6 new rubber stamps to our collection, plus some new 'must have' items.  I will quickly run through the stamps first and add a couple of samples I made (and Daniele made) with some of them (more to follow of course).

We have a new Elements plate CI-348 -

This is perfect for the foodie in your life - perhaps that hard to make man's card?!

Great fun to make, and hopefully now sitting on Malcolm's brother's mantelpiece as it was his birthday yesterday!

And then we have 5 new stamps in the Individuals collection:

CI-339

Daniele has made a lovely card with this one

CI-344

CI-345

You may have seen both of these featuring on my clock recently (and in Craft Stamper as a subscription gift).

CI-346

I made a card incorporating a removable hanging with this pretty dancing lady -

(Wow - thats pink!)

Finally CI-347 - you just can't go wrong with those ever popular butterflies can you!

I made a one layer card with this one - and keeping it flat is quite a challenge for me!  We have a lovely lady called Kay who battles bravely with our bookkeeping, and also stands in when necessary to tackle other jobs for us, and I made this card for her birthday a couple of days ago.

I am now working on another of these in lighter colours, as this was fun too!

Thanks to all who entered the blog candy challenge, and also for the great bi-monthly challenge entries that are still being linked in - some beauties to check out HERE, and still 8 days to go.

I haven't mentioned the brand new lovely 'must have' items yet tonight, but will cover those in my next post.  Meanwhile you can have a look at them on this relevant Website page.

Back soon,

BLOG CANDY ANYONE?!

As promised there is lovely blog candy to display tonight - however you will have to do a little fun work to try to win it folks.  Firstly here is what you might win:-

And this is what you have to do to win:  The following snippet was taken from one of our collections of rubber stamps which you will find on our website HERE.  All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning the cracking selection of Crafty Individuals products displayed above is to tell us the CI number of the stamp that this little section is taken from -

Please send us an email with your answer, and your address, to the 'contact us' details on our website, between now and midnight on Sunday.  We will then randomly pick a winner from the correct answers early next week.

You may have noticed that the selection includes two of our latest rubber stamps (not quite on general release yet).  These stamps are also part of the current subscription gifts on offer with Craft Stamper, and will be joined by other stamps and new goodies on the website soon - so do look out for your mailing list email in the next week or so.  If you are not already on the CI mailing list this is a very good time to sign up on the Home Page HERE, and be one of the first to explore the new stuff.

Now I had better show you some more crafting I think, as that is what this blog is all about.  I have had some beautiful projects sent over by a couple of our customers.  Firstly a very pretty tray decorated by Karen Cass -

Then Karen Clare sent me some images of adorable clocks she has made plus a very pretty card.

Thanks ladies.

I am now going to show you a few more of the clocks decorated by my ladies on the Whitby Workshop recently.  The first two are by Daniele, and Anne -

And the following four are clocks 'in progress' by Lynn, Sue, Jackie and Helen:

I think I can safely say that all of the above projects would also fit nicely into the theme of 'Time for Summer', which is our current Blog Challenge.  You will find the glorious entries to date HERE - 15 so far with 15 days still to go.  So why not join in and show us all what you can create!

Finally I would like to show you another project tonight by Daniele Haddon (her clock is also above).  Daniele has been working with our products for a long time now, and has also attended a couple of my longer workshops.  I am delighted to say that Daniele is joining our 'Team' so hopefully you will be seeing lots more of her fabulous work soon.  In this project Daniele has worked with another one of our soon to be released stamps (which you might also have seen in Craft Stamper recently).

Loving that dress, and those flowers!

Looking forward to reading your blog candy emails, and seeing more of your work in the Challenge thumbnail links - and don't forget to leave a comment if you have enjoyed tonight's post - always much appreciated!

LOTS MORE TO BLOG!

So many pics to show you - so little time!

We have already had 4 fabby Challenge (Time for Summer) entries, which you can check out in the last post I made, and we are looking forward to seeing yours featured up there.  And tonight I have more lovely inspirational pieces to show you, which will follow below.

Firstly a very pretty little wax topped creation by ZUZU (who also has a project in the latest Craft Stamper using our products, which is so very adorable).  You can buy Craft Stamper from our Website HERE.

Now an equally pretty project by LUCY in lovely Summer colours with a patriotic twist!  Lucy has had some horrible house problems, with flooding involved, and must be congratulated for keeping crafting.  Check out her blog as I see she has a rather nice decorated purse on there too.

Swiftly followed by a canvas from GINGER - a very nice 'day out' - Carol also has a project in Craft Stamper this month!

Next lovely LYNNE has made a slide mailer crafty creation with a seaside theme -

And HELEN has made the most gorgeous little 'cuckoo clock' - how sweet is this?!

Plus another colourful Summer card -

And I have another couple of delightful projects from SUE to show you:

I was going to continue with more projects from my Whitby ladies, but I think I will save those until next time, along with some other customer images, as its getting very late again.  We will have a little more blog candy to offer with my next post so keep checking back folks, and thanks for leaving your ongoing comments which are always a joy to read.

NEW CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS CHALLENGE STARTS TODAY....

Don't be an April fool - join us in the April Challenge now (go on you just know you want to!) - and whats more there are prizes to be won!  So without further ado I will fill you in on the details.

I have chosen this month's theme and as we have recently changed over to British Summertime here in the UK I thought it would be cool to have a 'TIME FOR SUMMER' Challenge.  You can interpret this by introducing clocks and time into your project or just simply go for a general Summertime layout, so it leaves the door wide open for lots of beautiful crafty projects to be linked in to this post with our usual inlinkz tool.

Please note:  You must incorporate at least one Crafty Individuals product in your project please.

You will be able to submit your project images up until midnight on 28th April, so you really don't have an excuse not to get inked up and raring to go.  The general guidelines will follow below as always -

......

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES

To enter this month's Crafty Individuals Challenge please put together your project, following the subject material outlined above (your project should include at least one Crafty Individuals product please), then:

Post your Challenge project on your blog, before the 28th of the month, and include a link back to this blog.

Leave a link in the URL box to take us directly to your Challenge project, etc. - which will then appear here on this blog as a thumbnail image - so we can all see your wonderful work.

At the end of the month the CI team and/or guests will set about choosing five lucky participants, each of whom will win a CI rubber stamp of their choice.

Go for it and enjoy the challenge x

......

I have lots of very lovely artwork to show you as inspiration around the theme of 'Time for Summer', and I will post some of it below, and save some for later.

So here goes with my own offering which was actually created for the Whitby Workshops we held recently (more images from the workshops will also follow in another post soon), and was the project we tackled on the second day.  As it is a decorated clock in a seaside theme it also seemed perfect for this Challenge too (and the clock works!) ....

Plus close-ups:

The Whitby ladies made their own incredible interpretations on this theme which I will show you as ongoing inspiration later.

* You might have noticed a couple of exciting new stamps popping up in the decorations - these are the current Subscription Offer with the brand new Craft Stamper issue (so new that we haven't as yet got it in stock, but watch out for it on this web page soon).

Moving on swiftly to some more gorgeous work by Sue based on 'Time for Summer' -

Such a very pretty card Sue!

And another card by Helen again in a colourful and creative seaside style - yum!

And lastly for tonight a fairy lovely box from Jo created with our portrait style tags -

That's it for tonight folks, hope inspiration has struck.  Blogger is giving me the right runaround tonight and everything is taking an eternity to upload.  Hopefully it will be back on form next time.  Don't forget to join in our new Challenge - we are expecting you!

Bye for now,

Jean x
