CHALLENGE CATCH UP INSPIRATION....

I need to bring you some more Challenge inspiration, as time is passing quickly, and I've still got lots to show you.  Check out our September Challenge HERE, and it would be great if you could join in - we are sooo looking forward to seeing your entry!

All the team have been busy creating such lovely 'Last Days of Summer' crafty stuff for us all to see.  Here is a beautiful display of perfumed sachets and deliciousness by Gio!

Along with lots of CI products and images Gio has used lovely TAP to transfer the main images onto fabric - Lush!  And whilst I am on the subject of lushness Gio has also posted some other lovely items on the Craft Barn Blog using TAP and our images - here is a peek -

How clever is she?!  The Craft Barn is also a great source of lots of crafty goodies, have a look HERE - and they also sell our products - so they must be fantastic!!!

Daniele sent us a very cool and quirky book that she made for the September Challenge with a seaside theme, and the fun birds from CI-349 ...

Lovely book, and cleverly made - maybe you could ask her to share her bookmaking secrets with you, as to how she put it together?!  These are the background papers she made before they were glued down:

Lucy has been busy with CI-348 to make her funky crackly crafty project:

Nice one for the kitchen, or wine cellar?!! (I wish!).

And Brenda has made quite a few of her amazing projects for us recently and here are another two on the Challenge theme -

Firstly a chunky postcard, with our seaside stamps CI-272 and an early stamp CI-119 -

And another flat postcard, again using CI-119 - lovely colours!

Sue has also been busy, and if you check out her blog now she has also been having fabby fun with our new masks too it seems!  Anyway she sent over some images of the Challenge themed items she has made and I will pop one of the items below, and save the others for the next post - beginning to run out of posting energy now!

How lovely do those butterflies from CI-347 look in this frame?!

And so this is my last lot of image uploads for this evening - such a beautiful use of those adorable elephants from CI-351, and see how Sylvie has used one of the elements on this mini plate to make that lovely flower!!!

Great colour scheme Sylvie!

Thanks to the brilliant CI Team for these inspiring images - love 'em!

Still more to come ......

You have still got a day to leave a comment on my last post, to be in with a chance of winning over £70 worth of goodies!

p.s. I had a comment asking for moderation rather than verification. Well I gave it a try but unfortunately it played havoc with my computer systems for some reason, so had to switch back to verification - sorry!

NEW RUBBER, NEW MASKS, AND NEW MUST HAVES.....

I'd better post our new products quickly, before they become old products!  If you get our newsletters you will already be aware that we have new rubber, new masks, and new must haves on site now.  However if you have just stumbled upon this Blog and have never heard of Crafty Individuals then do have a look at our site at www.craftyindividuals.co.uk and see what we are all about.

We have four new red rubber, top quality, fine detailed stamps to offer you:

CI-357 - Springtime Robin Collage:

I have made a tall narrow card with this little chap -

As you can see this is a reversed imaged.  I used TAP, which you can find HERE, because I wanted to transfer the stamp onto fabric.  However because that also reversed the writing (Post Card, and the Spring music at the bottom) I re stamped these particular bits onto the same fabric, and although that meant that these areas were much lighter, I thought it didn't really matter in a collage setting.  I then cut them out and just glued them in the relevant spots - this time the correct way round.  Check out the latest issue of Craft Stamper (October), which will be on our website very soon, as I have a project in there using TAP.

Brenda has also had a play with this stamp and here is her lovely notepad cover:

This time the correct way round as it was stamped onto card (I think!)  Brenda has also popped our corner die image (with bird removed) at the bottom.  You will find the die HERE.

The next new stamp is CI-358 - A Magical Reindeer -

And a little sneaky peak of part of a Christmas project I have just sent off to Craft Stamper for the festive edition, using the reindeer from this particular stamp -

And a lovely card made by Daniele using the same stamp -

And the other two stamps - which I just haven't had time to put to paper properly yet (watch this space!) are the city at Christmas CI-359 and the sooo spooky CI-360 -

Lots of possibilities here!

Now a quick mention about the new masks all of which you will find on our website HERE, and I will just quickly show you three of them -

The masks are really good fun to create with.  Try spraying over them, and/or using a stencil brush with them - with amazingly colourful results.  Here are a couple of cards I have recently made incorporating the masks and our die cut images-

I also added some stamping and our new photographs (matt sheets) which you can find HERE.

And finally new Must Haves - A Tando Heart Shaped Printer Tray, and a Christmas Tree Printer Tray (image below):

Must just mention too that I have added a 'gadget' down the side bar, where you can view some of the youtube videos that have been made by Tassy and Julie using Crafty Individuals products in some lovely projects.  Enjoy!

Here is Tassy's fun and colourful take on the Challenge subject matter for September -

Now if you are still with me at the bottom of this pretty long post I have the possibility of a nice reward for you!  We have put together a little selection of blog candy, which includes the new stamps, and some masks and a die +.  Someone is going to be the proud owner of this little lot next week, worth over £70, and all you have to do to be in with a chance is to leave a comment at the bottom of this post, and we will randomly be picking one of you to receive this jolly package.  If you have a blog maybe you could kindly link to this post too?!  Please leave a comment here before close of play next Tuesday, to take your chance to be a lucky winner!!!

Here is the selection:

Back with more Challenge inspiration soon, and don't forget if you enter the Challenge this month you can also claim a 25% discount off goods from our website - you will need to email us to pick up your discount code once you have linked in.  Check out the Challenge details now by using the side bar link.

Good night all!

CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE BEGINS....

-->
ATC entries from Aisling - Aisling's Hobby Blog

Email entry by Gail Tasker:

September is here and so is the start of a new Crafty Individuals Challenge, and to make it a little more interesting for you we thought it might be nice if everyone who enters a project in our Challenges can claim a massive 25% discount voucher code, which will last for the whole of the Challenge month.  Therefore this month you will be able to use the code as many times as you like before the very end of September - and we all like a bit of a bargain now don't we?!  To claim your lovely discount you will need to first link in your project to this blog, and display on your own blog too, and then email us at: info@craftyindividuals.co.uk to obtain your code.

After all that I think it is about time I gave you the information you need to get cracking on your Challenge projects.  The Challenge topic has been chosen this month by Carol Fox, aka Ginger, and is - 'LAST DAYS OF SUMMER', and Carol will also be choosing the winners.  So I reckon for this one pretty much anything goes as long as it is summery and uplifting.  Carol is hoping for a bit of an Indian Summer, and me too, seeing as the real summer has been rubbish here in the UK, so fingers crossed (and toes, and everything else really).  Here are the usual guidelines, and please note - YOU MUST USE AT LEAST ONE CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS PRODUCT IN YOUR PROJECT, or I'm sorry to say I will have to delete your link.

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES

To enter this month’s Crafty Individuals Challenge please put together your project, following the subject material outlined above (your project should include at least one Crafty Individuals product please), then:

Post your challenge project on your blog, before the 28th of the month, and include a link back to this blog,

Leave a link in the URL box to take us directly to your challenge project, etc. – which will then appear here on this blog as a thumbnail image – so we can all see your wonderful work.

At the end of the month the CI team and/or guests will set about choosing five lucky participants, each of whom will win a CI rubber stamp of their choice.  And don't forget you can also claim a lovely 25% voucher code to use on anything on the CI website until the end of the month.

Go for it and enjoy the challenge x

.....

Now for a little bit of inspiration to get you going.  Actually I have masses of inspiration from the 'team' this time, so I will start with a little this evening and then continue in further posts, so that the ideas keep flowing.   Everyone has done us proud as usual, but please don't feel anxious about putting your own project on display (as some of you have said you have felt in the past), remember it is all just a bit of fun and a bit of a challenge, it gives you something interesting to blog about, and you now get the option of a discount on our products too, as well as possibly winning a stamp of your choice.  So please join in the fun as soon as you can.

This is Ginger's own so very sweet and 'Indian Summer' project on her chosen theme:

Carol has a rather interesting story about the lovely bracelet also in the picture - maybe you could persuade her to tell!  She has used Distress Stains to colour this lovely wooden box, and then stamped it with images from our Elements Plate CI-351.

And I'm now going to pick just two other team member work on 'The Last Days of Summer' simply because they are using a similar/complimentary colour scheme.

Firstly the full view of the amazing project sent over by one of our newest team members Sylvie:

Followed by a couple of clues on how Sylvie went about making this delight -

Its a rather useful stamp that CI-351, so detailed and stamps beautifully.  Loving this dimensional stamping into UTEE?  Sylvie has also used an amazing amount of other CI stamps in her creation - and rather than link to them all individually (me being lazy), I will give you the link to the stamp pages and maybe you can go on a treasure hunt to check them all out HERE and HERE!
And two more close-ups -

Lynne has made a very beautiful project on the theme of the Challenge too - delicate and delicious - with butterflies all of a flutter!

More butterflies on here than I have seen since childhood!  Along with the beautiful butterflies from CI-231 Lynne has used some of our paper products - an image and background paper which you will find HERE.

Then just because the colours blend again I might pop in a little brooch I decorated right at the end.  I used our new butterfly panel mask to pretty this up which you will find HERE, along with bits torn from books and tissue tape.  This was a brooch blank I had had for ages but never used - now I wish I had some more!

Looking forward to seeing your entries folks,

Jean x
