IT'S ALMOST HALLOWEEN, AND WE HAVE LOTS OF SPOOKY IMAGES TO SHARE TONIGHT....

It is, and we definitely have! It doesn't get much better than this so feast your spookilicious little eyes on this little lot - the teamies have been very busy indeed...

I popped this one on Facebook the other day, by a one time, now having a rest, CI teamie - Coco..

..CI-500 plus a little mini me from CI-501.  Lots more using these 2 stamps, plus, below.

Another absolute beauty by Dora - loving that perfectly positioned little beetle Dora and the adorable hanging bat...

...Trees from CI-209 add to the graveyard look.

Then I have several spooktacular makes from Sandra...

...and I adore this one from Daniele..

Flo has also been creatively crowfull...

... as has Sylvie....

..and so loving the fiery colours Helen has used...

Plus the final ones tonight are by me, which have a dimensional padded effect (lost in the photo), as well as metallic touches...

I think I am correct in saying that we all enjoyed the creepilicious experience we had in making the above.  Have a fun Halloween everyone.

Back soon,
Jean x

p.s. We had a great weekend workshop with 16 fabulous folks very recently - you know who you are!!  Photos of the occasion to follow soon. x

IT'S BEEN A BIT OF A WEEK ALL IN ALL.....

It has been a bit of a week!  As you know we were in Doncaster at the Stamp Magic show last weekend, and all in all October has been, and still is being a very busy month for us this year.  However on Wednesday, just gone, poor Malcolm had a heart attack right out of the blue (very scary indeed)!!!  Thanks to the amazingly rapid response of the NHS he is still here to tell the tale - in fact we had a lunch of fish and chips sat in the sunshine on a terrace at our local seaside town today.  How surreal is that?!  Apart from feeling a bit tired, and having had 2 stents fitted, he is pretty much back to being fighting fit again.

He has in fact always been quite a fit guy, slim, a non smoker, plays sport - table tennis in particular, used to run marathons and climb mountains, not a big drinker - so where on earth did that come from?  So please be aware folks that it can happen to anyone! So if you have pains in your chest, and left arm, and shortness of breath, and you think you might be having a heart attack, dial 999.  Ok lecture over now I promise.

Apart from that news we can also introduce you to 2 fantastic new teamies tonight, who are joining the Crafty Individuals fold, lovely Sarah and Chris.  Sarah's blog is: http://sarahanderson1.blogspot.com/ and Chris' blog is: http://pearshapedcrafting.blogspot.com/

So now I have some of their artwork to share with you.....

A couple of things from Sarah, and, oh my goodness, I do love those penguins (from CI-392)...

....And the funky typewriter above is from CI-455.

Plus some pretties from Chris...

Stamps used by Chris include CI-498, CI-501, CI-430, CI-403, and CI-137.  Loving the wording on the Raven journal page, ha ha!

Next weekend we have the Art, Stamp and Play workshop, together with Chocolate Baroque - not long to wait now folks.

Thanks for reading, back soon,

Jean x

NEW STUFF AND WHICH CRAFT SHOW AT DONCASTER ON SUNDAY...

If you get the CI Newsletter you will know that we have new stamps, papers and special offer pack out now -  The New Products section can be found Here on our website. And below are just a few of the wonderful teamie samples made so far with the new stuff....

Two from Sandra above using CI-502 and one below by me featuring the same Christmas Border stamp...

And here are a couple featuring the Crow, CI-500, and the Raven, CI-501, made by Flo. The stamp images were developed from charcoal drawings by super talented Maria Kitano in Belgium...

Superb and very atmospheric. More will follow soon I'm sure.

We are in full flow getting ready for the Doncaster show on Sunday, and loading up the van ready for setting up tomorrow afternoon. We are again sharing a stand with Chocolate Baroque. It would be lovely to see you there if you can make it?!

A VERY BRIEF POST INDEED.....

Just a quickie to show you a couple of Sylvie's lovely makes as appeared on Hochanda on Monday, and to remind you that we will be at Port Sunlight show on Saturday, and at Doncaster the following Sunday.  Hope to see lots of you at one or both of these shows maybe?!

We had a great visit to the Hochanda studios, with Lesley of Chocolate Baroque, and we are so pleased that so many of you enjoyed the 'just the ticket' shows.
We will be sharing a stand at both the above craft materials shows with Chocolate Baroque again, and we are all setting off in the morning, on our merry ways.

Here are Sylvie's super cool creations...

Thanks for looking.

CATCHING UP.....

We are in the full throes of catching up with ourselves, getting ready for Hochanda - shows on the 1st October at 12pm and 4pm, and also getting ready for two retail shows in quick succession - 6th October at Port Sunlight, and 14th October at Doncaster.  Do hope to see a few of you there!  October is looking like a busy month, ending with the weekend of workshops I'm running along with Lesley of Chocolate Baroque. We still have a few places left if you fancy some delicious crafty playtime with us.

So now I also need to catch up on this blog, as I didn't realise I had left it so long in between posts.

My inspiration for this evening consists of a very lovely book that Daniele made recently with our last lot of new papers, and some gorgeous stamping.  I do love crafty books!

You will find the papers HERE.

Next I have 4 delightful makes by Sylvie to share....

Some of the stamps used in the above three are CI-401, CI-495, and CI-486.
My last one tonight by Sylvie is this colourful beauty, using CI-459...

....And my final make is by lovely Flo...

Such lovely colours so I'm glad I could enlarge it for you to see in all it's glory, using CI-497!

Thanks for joining me to view,

PHEW WHAT A BUSY DAY....

The 'Create It' show at Gateshead was fantastic and so very, very, busy.  Hope you enjoyed it if you attended?!  It was great to see so many familiar faces, and chat to you all.  We are already looking forward to the next one in the region.  However we still have Hochanda shows on 1st October, and Port Sunlight Happy Stampers, coming up next on 6th October.  Also after that we have a late entry to Stamp Magic at Doncaster on Sunday, 14th October, where we will be again sharing a large stand with Chocolate Baroque.  So it's a very busy time - help!!

My inspiration tonight is a selection of beauties by lovely Sandra.  All again based around the seaside, and featuring stamps CI-283, CI-272, CI-497, CI-402, and CI-284 (and more), plus CI papers too.  Another fabulous assortment Sandra!!

Wonderful!

Have a lovely weekend everyone,

IT'S SHOW TIME THIS SATURDAY ......

Hi Folks - Yes we are in the midst of packing up all our lovely products and goodies and samples, ready for the trip up to Gateshead for the 'Create It' show on Saturday. It is taking place in the Gateshead International Stadium, between 10am and 4pm, and tickets will also be available on the door priced at £5. Are you coming? We are dying to meet and greet you! You will find us sharing a large stand with Chocolate Baroque.  Lesley and I will both be there, along with the men in our lives, Malcolm and David, lending a hand.

Now on with the CI creative inspiration for this evening.  Firstly 3 lovely projects by teamie Flo.  2 colourful canvasses and a round wooden plaque, featuring CI-402 and CI-459..

My next 3 fabulous projects are by Craftyfield, Flo and Sandra...

The two stamps mentioned above also feature on here, as well as the girlfriends from CI-283, and CI-284 .

The final terrific threesome follows, incorporating the above mentioned stamps.  I think these are by Sylvie and Sandra..

And to finish off tonight's display I have a very pretty card by Daniele, featuring CI-449..

....Plus another cracker by Craftyfield..

...And a very clever sample by Flo, where our little girl sits very delightfully on a little swing...

Thanks for your company reading this post, and thanks all who take the time to comment regularly or from time to time.

We do hope to see you on Saturday!

Bye for now,
Jean x
