A GUEST ARTIST FOR APRIL AND MORE ....

We are delighted and excited to introduce to you our guest artist for April - drumroll please - it is Titbelsoeur - http://titbelsoeur.eklablog.com/
Here we have some of her lovely creative makes using Crafty Individuals rubber stamps, firstly we have two open book 'landscapes' featuring CI-474 and CI-460..

Plus a festive make in a similar fashion with CI-463 and others..

Followed by two lovely eclectic hangings - check out CI-404 and CI-455 and more ...

Plus a seaside themed card..

Finally my personal favourite, again with a seaside theme, and with the help of a sardine can...

Titbelsouer has kindly written a little tutorial about this project for us..
First cut out waves from the pages of a book with a cutting knife, and add blue watercolor paint with a brush to represent sky and sea, leaving some spaces for foam and clouds.
When all dry, glue all pages together and cut them out ready to insert in the can to represent the landscape. Stick it inside and to the back of the can.

The next step is to stamp the child, the lighthouse and birds on to a piece of cardstock, paint them and cut them out. Insert the lighthouse between 2 waves and stick the birds to the background sky.
Add some glue to the bottom and the edge of the can and sprinkle sand on it. Let it dry. Stick the child on the edge with hot glue.
Fill in a mini-bottle with sand and shells, close it and glue the can on it with hot glue. Also glue shells to the bottom of the can and the lid of the bottle.
Tie a string around the bottle, and you are done!
Stamps she has used include CI-459, CI-384 and more ..

Fantastic!

Last month we had Jannet, gillslap.blogspot.co.uk as our guest artist, and for some reason I didn't receive all the images of her lovely makes at the time.  There were two missed out, and they are real beauties and perfect for Easter, so I am inserting them below..

Jannet has used CI-467 in the second framed delight, and CI-372 and more in the first scene.

Superb!

Back soon,
Jean x

What fantastic pieces from Titbelsoeur. I've seen paper folding but this takes it to the next level! I love the sardine can and all the sea shells too, and the sweet card and wall hangings, all so inventive. I love Jannet's pretty Spring scenes too, just delightful. TFS them to us Jean. x

Titbelsoeur's open book landscape is such a clever idea, it works particularly well with the "village", fabulous make! Love the eclectic hanging too, perfectly distressed and vintage as well as that fun sardine can!
I love Jannet's house and garden with the 3D effect off the vegetation, the perfect English cottage!

I know well Titbelsoeur, and she's a Queen of recycling in my view... So really worth offering her the opportunity to be guest DT, I was very curious about her makes using some of the CI stamps.
I'm not disappointed at all, she has done a great job for you and Crafty Individuals!
Also congratulations again to Jannet for her exquisite creations, so beautiful and charming. I love them to bits.

Titbelsoeur est une artiste à l'état pur, créative et généreuse, et même si je ne sais pas dire tout cela en anglais , quelqu'un ici, le traduira je l'espère pour moi!
