LOVELY COLOURS FOR A SUNNY DAY...

We eventually managed to get our little break, although Malcolm had a little hospital stay with stomach problems just before.  We are still waiting to find out what that was all about as he is waiting for a scan.  We thoroughly enjoyed our Northumberland mini holiday though as he was feeling a lot better.  He worked his magic and took this rather nice view of the sea....

We also had a day trip up to Edinburgh to see a big exhibition of the work of my favourite artist, Victoria Crowe.  Here are a couple of snippets of tiny bits of a couple of her paintings, just taken on my phone.  Love her work....

Do visit if you get a chance!

Now back to butterflies, and I have a lovely selection of very colourful makes to show you this evening by our lovely teamie ladies.  This beauty by Gerrina..

... And this is a portion of the beautiful canvas Lesley created on the show with tissue and a canvas board...

The next two scrummy makes are by Dora...

Followed by beauties from Sylvie..

Sandra...

And Flo...

What a lovely variety, all made with butterfly stamps from CI-517 to CI-521!

Back soon,
Jean x

What beautiful creations! I LOVE the new butterfly stamps! I took nearly 300 photos of butterflies when we visited a butterfly house in Calvados last week! Malcolm took a stunning photo despite feeling poorly. Get well wishes heading your way.

Super creations Jean and love them all using these gorgeous butterflies. I'm glad you had a good break in Northumberland and glad Malcolm was feeling a lot better and love the atmospheric photo. I hope he gets his scan soon, it is just wise to get these things checked out. I haven't heard of this artist but I love the two different paintings of what looks like the same sitter, but a totally different feeling to each. x

Good that the minibreak was a fine one! The photo looks so good!
And never heard of hear; will dive into that; here work looks 'intrigine'. So good to see so much beautiful artwork together! I have no favorite; they all look so good! Hugs, Gerrina

I love that photo - I do miss the breakwaters of the East coast! I hadn't heard of Victoria Crowe - these portraits really are lovely! What a fabulous collection of butterflies by the DT - once again illustrating the contrast in styles and the versatility of these stamps! Pleased to know that Malcolm is feeling a little better! Hugs, Chrisx
